Key Responsibilities
Train, schedule and supervise assigned staff in carrying out individual treatment plans
Conduct sensory processing evaluations and clinical assessments
Design and monitor treatment techniques and programs
Promote community integration and develop family education
Ensure person-centered assessment, goal setting, and treatment
Collaborate with primary Case Holder on Individual Plan of Service
Complete documentation of progress notes and evaluations
Monitor individual progress and maintain accurate treatment records
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and program development
Order treatment supplies and equipment as needed
Provide supervision for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and OT students
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
Licensed by State of Michigan MS, OTR/L
Two years of professional work experience in a clinical setting
Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to communicate in verbal and written formats
