Sales Representative
Highland Park, TX | Onsite | $45,000 Base + Commission
About the Role
We’re looking for a driven Sales Representative to join our team and grow business within the independent retail and distribution market. This role focuses on acquiring new accounts, nurturing existing relationships, and executing strategic sales initiatives to increase revenue and expand market presence.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain relationships with independent retailers, wholesalers, and distributors
- Identify new sales opportunities through prospecting, referrals, and territory research
- Grow existing accounts by delivering exceptional service and identifying upsell opportunities
- Develop and implement sales plans to meet revenue goals and drive market expansion
- Negotiate pricing, promotions, and product placement to maximize profitability
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to adjust strategy as needed
- Coordinate in-store product displays and marketing materials to increase visibility
- Track inventory levels and sales data, making reorder recommendations
What You Bring
- 2+ years of sales experience (food industry or independent retail preferred)
- Good communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple accounts independently
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel locally throughout the Dallas Metro area
- Ability to lift 35–50 lbs as needed
