Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel OR Registered Nurse (RN) with strong orthopedic experience to join our surgical team. The role requires providing perioperative nursing care in the operating room, supporting orthopedic procedures, and managing patient care efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care during orthopedic surgeries.
• Assist with preparation, positioning, and monitoring of patients throughout surgical procedures.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Manage patient care documentation accurately using the Epic EMR system .
• Respond to call assignments as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required.
• Strong orthopedic nursing experience is a must.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Degree accreditation must be visible on profile OR a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience is required.
• Experience with Epic EMR strongly preferred.
• Ability to work Wednesday through Friday, 12-hour day shifts, including call duties.
