This position is for a locum tenens pediatrician to work 3 days per week in an outpatient pediatric clinic in Illinois, providing acute, wellness, and follow-up visits. Responsibilities include nursery and pediatric floor coverage, with required certifications in NRP and PALS. The role offers comprehensive support including credentialing, housing, malpractice coverage, and recruiter assistance.

  • 3 days per week -- clinic hours 8am - 11:40am and 1pm - 4:40pm
  • Call coverage 4 days per month -- 1st Friday plus 3rd Friday through Sunday
  • 20 - 40 minute appointment slots
  • Mix of acute visits, wellness visits, and follow-ups
  • Outpatient pediatric clinic setting
  • Required skills: NRP and PALS certification
  • Nursery and pediatric floor coverage
