Job Description
Join Zen Educate as a Behavior Technician and support K-12 special education students in a structured classroom setting. You'll work closely with students to implement personalized plans, ensuring their academic and behavioral growth. Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed staff in the classroom by helping implement academic adaptations and IEPs
Work with students individually or in small groups to support their self-care and social/behavioral needs
Maintain a safe classroom environment
Provide timely support for students in crisis situations
Utilize various learning methods to enhance student engagement
Required Qualifications
60 college credits or higher
Passing score on the Paraeducator Assessment or Paraprofessional Assessment
Professional proficiency in English
U.S. Work Authorization
Preferred Qualifications
ParaPro Certification
Behavioral Technician or PCA experience working with children
Past work experience in a school setting with children with special needs
