Key Responsibilities
Provides comprehensive initial and ongoing assessment of individuals in crisis in the community
Functions as a collaborative member of the Crisis Team to ensure optimal care
Provides therapeutic and case management support while referring clients to clinical services
Serves as a liaison to local police and emergency services organizations
Ensures all documentation requirements and billing procedures are completed
Works across programs for clients with both mental health and substance use disorders
Develops and maintains recovery-oriented therapeutic relationships with individuals in crisis
Collaborates with clinical team to develop person-centered safety planning
Participates in administrative activities including team meetings and clinical supervision
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Related Human Service Field
Three years providing direct services to psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse population
Three years previous experience in assessment and diagnosis and crisis intervention
LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LADC
Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook
Experience in or the ability to learn how to use an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
