Job Description

Join Rushford as a Mobile Crisis Clinician, where you'll play a vital role in providing immediate crisis intervention and support to individuals in need. Your expertise will help foster recovery and ensure safety in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides comprehensive initial and ongoing assessment of individuals in crisis in the community
  • Functions as a collaborative member of the Crisis Team to ensure optimal care
  • Provides therapeutic and case management support while referring clients to clinical services
  • Serves as a liaison to local police and emergency services organizations
  • Ensures all documentation requirements and billing procedures are completed
  • Works across programs for clients with both mental health and substance use disorders
  • Develops and maintains recovery-oriented therapeutic relationships with individuals in crisis
  • Collaborates with clinical team to develop person-centered safety planning
  • Participates in administrative activities including team meetings and clinical supervision

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Related Human Service Field
  • Three years providing direct services to psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse population
  • Three years previous experience in assessment and diagnosis and crisis intervention
  • LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LADC
  • Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook
  • Experience in or the ability to learn how to use an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
