Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on vehicles
Conduct major and minor repairs independently
Perform road tests to diagnose problems
Keep work area clean and safe
Utilize Penske's tools and technologies for repairs
Engage in ongoing training and skill development
Required Qualifications
6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance
Valid driver's license required, CDL preferred
Ability to solve problems
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Basic computer skills
Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
Specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components
OEM training courses
ASE Certification
608/609 certifications
