Key Responsibilities
Lead analysis of certification planning, testing, and compliance with FAA regulations
Provide SME support to programs and engineers in Electrical Design
Mentor prospective Engineering Unit members
Stay current with design industry trends
Travel globally to supplier locations and Boeing sites 25% of the time
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
9+ years of experience for Level 4 or 14+ years for Level 5
5 or more years’ experience with Electrical System Design
3 or more years’ experience with FAA compliance
Ability to travel 25% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
12 or more years' related work experience
Active FAA DER appointment or Engineering Unit Member in ODA
9 or more years’ experience with Electrical System Design
3 or more years’ experience mentoring engineers in certification processes
Active U.S. Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance
