Key Responsibilities
Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action
Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures
Communicate with patients and loved ones
Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene
Work collaboratively with all allied health and public safety personnel
Develop and utilize triage skills
Provide patient care according to clinical protocols
Lift and move patients as required
Communicate with receiving facility for medical direction
Drive the ambulance and provide map reading support
Maintain all Paramedic required certifications
Document activities regarding patient care and billing
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
National Registry Paramedic Certification
Montana State Paramedic License within 60 days of hire
Valid State Driver’s License
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP
Driving record in compliance with AMR Safety and Driving policy
Preferred Qualifications
Some past work experience, preferably in healthcare
