Job Details:
• Work as a Radiologic Technologist performing general diagnostic radiology procedures
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of all aspects of General Diagnostic Radiology • Maintains RT(R) credentials with active status and annual continuing education requirements • Ensures proper patient demographics, emulsion markers, and examination accuracy • Critiques, orients, and saves pertinent images, transmitting QA-ed images to PACS • Documents completion and cancellation of procedures in RIS system • Maintains image management equipment and reports equipment problems • Utilizes PACS, HIS, RIS, CIS, and SMS systems effectively for information access • Verifies patient identity and obtains relevant patient history • Verifies pregnancy status before administering ionizing radiation • Assesses patient physical condition and develops examination action plans • Assists patients requiring extra attention and reacts to emergency situations • Maintains clean and safe work environment • Experience with Siemens/OR helpful to role • Required certifications: ARRT Certified in Radiography, Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider • Required education: Accredited Associate's Degree or completion of accredited Radiologic Sciences Program • No prior experience required • Local travelers will be reviewed firstFacility:
