Job Description
Join Kaiser as an Adult Generalist Psychologist, providing essential mental health services and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care. Make a meaningful impact by assessing, diagnosing, and treating a diverse range of psychiatric conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates clinical treatment programs.
Provides outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
Conducts psychological assessments and prepares treatment plans.
Collaborates with physicians for psychotropic medication screening.
Provides clinical supervision to psychology interns and residents.
Participates in departmental program development and evaluation.
Required Qualifications
PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health or School Psychology from an accredited college or university.
Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire.
National Provider Identifier required at hire.
Familiarity with DSM-V for diagnosis.
Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions.
Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice and psychotherapy research methods.
Knowledge of bio-psycho-social functions related to mental health.
Accuracy in diagnosing patients and developing effective treatment plans.
Competence in individual, family, and group psychotherapy.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous clinical responsibility including crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy.
Experience in psychological evaluations of various age groups.
Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity.
