Key Responsibilities
Pre-rounding and developing a plan of care for patients
Presenting patients on rounds and implementing care plans
Performing procedures such as intubation, line placement, and chest tube management
Collaborating with physicians and participating in education of fellows and residents
Required Qualifications
Master's or doctoral degree in nursing
Graduate of an NP program accredited by NLNAC or CCNE
Licensure as a Registered Nurse in California
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in California
Certification in Basic Life Support from AHA
Preferred Qualifications
Pediatric cardiac and/or ICU experience
National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
