As the Health & Safety Site Manager at Primient, you'll lead initiatives to ensure employee safety and environmental protection. Your role includes managing a dedicated team, developing safety programs, and fostering a strong safety culture in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a team of 6 direct reports
Oversee employee and contractor training programs
Establish and maintain industrial hygiene monitoring programs
Act as a liaison during emergencies
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Interface with regulatory agencies during audits
Develop and implement safety policies
Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments
Provide training programs and communicate safety protocols
Track safety metrics and prepare reports
Stay updated with relevant laws and regulations
Foster a culture of safety and well-being
Continuously seek improvements in safety practices
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
At least 10 years of experience in Health & Safety role
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations
Excellent communication skills
Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop safety programs
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing or industrial setting
Corn wet milling experience
