Key Responsibilities
Assess patients and develop treatment plans based on evaluations
Provide direct patient care and document findings
Assist Level III physical therapists with program development
Train and guide students and interns
Oversee patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and colleagues
Participate in departmental committees and taskforces
Required Qualifications
Bachelors or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Current license to practice Physical Therapy by Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners or Physical Therapy Compact Commission
Current Certification in Basic Life Support
Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree along with a residency or fellowship program
Licensed therapist with 30 hours of continuing competence activities in differential diagnosis
