The Deputy Medical Director for Northwell GoHealth Urgent Care will act as a key clinical leader, supporting strategic initiatives and managing clinical services across urgent care centers. This role emphasizes collaboration, quality care, and operational excellence, ensuring high standards of patient experience and clinical performance.
Key Responsibilities
Support Medical Director and Market President in strategic initiatives
Manage and direct clinical services for assigned urgent care centers
Oversee quality of care and clinical caregivers
Participate in strategic and operational planning
Drive high priority strategic initiatives
Serve as de-facto clinical leader in the Medical Director's absence
Assist in recruitment and training of providers
Mentor new and existing employees
Required Qualifications
M.D. Degree or equivalent from an accredited College of Medicine
Completion of Medical Residency with Board Certification or eligibility
Administrative experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or related field
Outstanding communication and management skills
Recent experience in generally accepted and currently used methods and techniques
Currently licensed as a physician in applicable state
