Position Description:
12H rotating, day/night, every other weekend.
Will rotate within the same week. MA license
BLS-AHA required.
ACLS-AHA preferred.
Must have min 2 years of experience.

20 total beds in unit. Ratios 3:1 for step down, 5:1 for MS assignments. Will float to MS, ICU to care for step down and MS/ED if needed.
Pt pop: Cardiac: Cardiothoracic surgery, CHF, Afib/RVR on drips diltiazem, amiodarone, lasix, esmolol, cangrelor, lidocaine, nitroglycerin, Respiratory: COPD, NIV: BIPAP, high flow nasal cannula, hydrocortisone drip, Neuro: Q2hr neuro checks, Q2hr seizure checks, continuous EEG monitoring, IV dilantin Renal: Peritoneal dialysis, Q2hr BMP for hyponatremia, ETOH patients requiring IV phenobarbital. Stanton 6 is a mixed intermediate care unit.

We care for Step-Down level patients as well as telemetry/med-surg patients.
We have 20 private beds, 14 designated as med-surg level and 6 designated as Step Down.
RNS rotate med-surg/Step Down assignments.

Must be separated from BILH for at least 6 months to be considered (perm, per diem, contract)
