Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Support operational teams and develop educational materials
  • Manage partnerships with providers to assess quality measures
  • Drive quality transformation through education and best practices
  • Conduct medical record audits for compliance
  • Deliver constructive feedback to providers
  • Coordinate medical record retrieval and submission

Required Qualifications

  • Current unrestricted nursing licensure in Virginia
  • 5+ years of clinical experience, or other relevant experience
  • 2+ years of quality improvement experience, or other relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Effective communication with diverse audiences
  • Commitment to meeting stakeholder needs
  • Ability to make formal presentations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use databases and prepare reports
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to travel to physician offices up to 75% of the time
  • Driver’s license and access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working in Medicaid and/or Medicare
  • Health care and insurance industry experience, including regulatory and compliance
  • Knowledge of clinical standards of care, preventive health standards, HEDIS, NCQA, and managed care
