Job Description
Join Raytheon's mechanical design team as a Senior Principal Engineer focusing on Low Observable technology. You will work on cutting-edge projects that enhance national security, collaborating within integrated teams to innovate and improve stealth systems.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct design and analysis for stealth technology
Perform RCS predictions and manage limitations of Computational Electromagnetic Codes
Document test preparation, data analysis, and design trades
Collaborate within integrated product teams
Present testing and analysis results to stakeholders
Lead Integrated Product Team efforts
Manage projects and identify impacts on systems
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Ten years of engineering experience in Low Observable technology or Radar Cross Section or Computational Electromagnetic Codes
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
U.S. citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with tests of LO targets on ground plane ranges
Experience with absorber material treatments/design and testing
RF testing techniques and test equipment experience
Understanding of electromagnetic fundamentals
Experience in infrared signature analysis and control
Programming expertise in C++, MATLAB, or other technical languages
Advanced radar system development or test experience
Strong presentation skills
