Join ECHN as a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist, where you'll evaluate and treat patients to enhance their speech and language functions. This role involves working collaboratively within a clinical team and providing community education.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients based on departmental standards.
Conduct and modify evaluations based on symptoms, activity level, and medical status.
Treat patients with appropriate therapeutic techniques.
Administer physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques.
Educate patients and families in home exercise programs.
Document in accordance with insurance guidelines.
Supervise at least one affiliated student per year.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds or is eligible for current Connecticut license.
Eligible or has a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
Valid driver's license for occasional travel between ECHN business sites.
