Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients
  • Serve as clinical leadership and assume relief charge duties
  • Promote a positive work environment and quality patient care
  • Ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies
  • Collaborate with healthcare team on individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and assist with special tests and procedures
  • Maintain patient safety and report concerns
  • Participate in orientation and training of new personnel

Required Qualifications

  • Program Graduate
  • Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
  • RN license in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification within 6 months
  • Basic Arrhythmia Certification within 1 year

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Nationally Certified in area of specialty
  • PALS
  • TNCC and/or ENPC
