Join Healthcare Services Group as an Environmental Services Department Manager, leading housekeeping and laundry teams in a long-term care facility. Your role will focus on ensuring compliance with health standards while enhancing resident experiences through effective management and training.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff
Perform and lead teams in light and heavy housekeeping and laundry duties
Lead staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions
Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment
Act as liaison between building occupants and HCSG staff
Ensure safe use of cleaning solutions and adherence to safety precautions
Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Two years of experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervision preferred
Positive attitude and effective communication skills
Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
Ability to lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds
Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
Ability to work around food and cleaning products
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Residency within the service area required
