Job Description
Join Cambridge Health & Rehabilitation Center as an MDS Director (RN) and lead the MDS program to enhance resident care through accurate assessments. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive environment that values your expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the MDS assessments for resident care plans
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Monitor Case Mix Index (CMI) scores
Train and mentor MDS Coordinators
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Track and analyze assessment data
Drive continuous improvement in nursing care
Required Qualifications
Valid state RN license
Direct care in a long-term care setting
MDS Coordinator experience
Proficient in state and federal regulations governing the MDS and billing process
Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR), PDP, MDS 3.0, Medicaid and Medicare requirements
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree or certification
