Job Description
As a Navy Chaplain, you will provide spiritual support to Sailors and Marines, conducting services, counseling, and overseeing religious education. This role offers you the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of service members in various settings.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct worship services in various settings
Perform religious rites and ceremonies
Counsel individuals seeking guidance
Oversee religious education programs
Provide spiritual guidance to hospitalized personnel
Train lay leaders for religious education
Promote attendance at religious services and retreats
Advise leaders on morale, ethics, and spiritual well-being
Required Qualifications
U.S. citizen or equivalent
Graduate degree in theological or related studies from an accredited institution
Two years of full-time religious leadership experience
Ability to obtain an Ecclesiastical Endorsement from a registered religious faith organization
