Key Responsibilities
Evaluates patients based on departmental standard.
Conducts and modifies evaluations based on patient symptoms and medical status.
Treats patients using appropriate therapeutic techniques.
Educates patients and families in home exercise programs.
Documents in accordance with insurance guidelines.
Supervises at least one affiliated student per year.
Participates in continuing education and departmental in-services.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic personal computer skills in the use of Windows based programs.
