Key Responsibilities
Administers the nursing program in a long term care facility
Facilitates optimization of the geriatric care process
Responsible for overall quality of care provided by nursing personnel
Schedules staff and conducts employee performance reviews
Monitors operations of nursing staff to ensure compliance with regulations
Develops and executes clinical programs and policies
Required Qualifications
Five years nursing experience
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license
Thorough knowledge of the nursing practice act and standards of nursing care
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
Experience in Housing with Services, HUD, and/or assisted living
