Join Horizon Air as a Ramp & Customer Service Agent, where you'll play a vital role in enhancing guest experiences at the airport. This part-time position involves assisting passengers, handling luggage, and performing essential ramp duties, all while working in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist guests with travel needs
Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Perform aircraft grooming and security searches
Handle boarding and gate duties
Process and secure guest luggage
Load and offload luggage and cargo
Perform duties as assigned to ensure guest satisfaction
Required Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Valid unexpired driver’s license
Ability to learn and operate a computerized reservation system
Typing speed of at least 25 WPM
Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, reach and grasp
Basic mathematics skills
Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to participate in paid training that may require overnight travel
Ability to obtain USPS Mail Handling Certification
Ability to obtain airport security clearance
Ability to communicate in English
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum age of 18
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of customer service or community service experience
