Join Verizon as an Outside Plant Technician and maintain our outside plant facilities for maximum efficiency. You'll be responsible for installation and maintenance tasks, ensuring our network remains reliable and effective. Key Responsibilities
Placing, rearranging, and removing outside plant cables and hardware
Connecting wires and cables to terminals
Reading and interpreting engineering work orders
Performing construction work using designated equipment
Operating company motor vehicles to transport equipment
Climbing ladders and poles, working aloft
Working evenings, weekends, holidays, and unscheduled shifts as needed
Required Qualifications
Valid state driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
CDL or the ability to obtain a CDL
Preferred Qualifications
A related Associate Degree or 2 or more years of relevant work experience
Completed Verizon Technician Program or similar programs covering electrical or lineman training
