Key Responsibilities
Assist in design of electrical projects and install electrical equipment
Coordinate with other workers for installation and maintenance
Consult with operators and engineers to plan layout and resolve issues
Work with voltage levels up to 480, 4160
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
Inspect components of industrial equipment
Maintain equipment logs
Troubleshoot problems and perform necessary repairs
Adapt to changing priorities
Follow safety rules and regulations
Required Qualifications
Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
18 years or older
Physical job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Work under extreme heat or cold
Work in elevated areas
Operate machinery
Read/write English
High School diploma or Equivalent
Basic computer skills
Ability to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts
Perform electrical maintenance trade
Experience with blueprints, schematics, manuals, and mathematical knowledge
Operate mobile equipment
High degree of mechanical aptitude
Basic mathematical functions
Willing to work in inclement conditions
Work in outdoor and indoor environments
Very good time management skills
Install conduit and pull wire
Strong commitment to safety
Adequate transportation
Use multiple tools such as multi-meter, voltmeter, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with wiring and programming Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers
Experience using electrical test equipment for analysis and troubleshooting
Knowledge of the National Electric Code
Mechanical aptitude for blueprints, maintenance manuals, and drawings
Apprentice, Journeyman or above license in Nebraska or equivalent
A 2-year degree in electromechanical, electrical system, or equivalent
