Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in oncology to provide care in an outpatient cancer center setting. This role involves administering treatments, monitoring patient responses, and ensuring safety and comfort throughout the process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, knowledgeable in oncology nursing, and committed to delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing cancer treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess patient response to treatment and report adverse reactions
  • Collaborate with oncologists and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
  • Provide patient education on treatment plans, side effects, and self-care techniques
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Ensure adherence to infection control and safety procedures

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Oncology
  • BLS certification required
  • Strong IV skills and familiarity with chemotherapy agents and protocols
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
