Join Constellation Energy as a Reactor Supervisor and lead operations at the nation’s largest clean energy provider. You will be responsible for overseeing reactor control room operations, managing staff, and ensuring safety and compliance while gaining invaluable experience in the nuclear energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
Authorize maintenance and testing activities to ensure equipment status is maintained
Implement Emergency Operating procedures and direct required procedural steps to stabilize the plant
Evaluate and respond to internal and external issues and requests
Oversee special projects determined by the Operations Director/Operations Managers
Create, revise, and review Emergency Operating Procedures and Abnormal Operating Procedures
Review design and license changes for procedure impact
Provide operability review for systems during off-normal conditions
Assist in developing refueling sequences and ensure systems accommodate shutdown and refueling operations
Direct operating shift personnel in the performance of plant duties on rotating shifts
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Passing the Plant Operator Selection System (POSS) and Basic Math and Science Test (BMST)
Completion of a FLS Leadership Assessment
1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a non-comparable facility
1.5 years or more in a position equivalent to Reactor Operator (or Supervisor) at military reactor
Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology or physical sciences, or professional engineer license
