Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care of patients during interfacility transport
Collaborate with patients and families to provide theory-based professional care
Coordinate care delivery with physicians and other healthcare team members
Required Qualifications
NREMT - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians-Paramedic
Paramedic – Certified in the District of Columbia or ability to acquire prior to start date
Paramedic – Licensed in Maryland or ability to acquire prior to start date
Health Services/ACLS
BLS - Basic Life Support
Health Services/PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
ATLS - Advanced Trauma Life Support Certification within 180 Days or TPATC - Transport Prof Adv Trauma Crse within 180 Days
