Job Description
As a Navy Chaplain, you will support Sailors and Marines by providing spiritual guidance and performing religious duties. You will be a source of encouragement during both joyous and challenging times, with opportunities to lead services and counsel individuals.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct worship services in various settings
Perform religious rites and ceremonies
Counsel individuals seeking guidance
Oversee religious education programs
Provide spiritual guidance to hospitalized personnel and their families
Train lay leaders for religious education programs
Promote attendance at religious services and events
Advise leaders on morale, ethics, and spiritual well-being
Required Qualifications
U.S. citizen or equivalent
Graduate degree in theological or related studies from an accredited educational institution
Two years of full-time religious leadership experience
Ability to obtain an Ecclesiastical Endorsement from a registered religious faith organization
