Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and supervise food production activities
  • Assume responsibilities of Executive Chef when unavailable
  • Supervise kitchen staff and maintain food storage
  • Conduct and supervise inventories
  • Monitor material consumption and order food/equipment
  • Participate in food product and menu development
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards
  • Guide and develop subordinate employees

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial cooking
  • Certification from culinary school
  • Knowledge of food and hygiene regulations (HACCP)
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of financial controls
  • Service orientation
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications
