Key Responsibilities
Assists with treatments ordered by provider under supervision.
Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information.
Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations.
Performs clerical duties including answering phones and scheduling patients.
Maintains supply inventory and a clean environment.
Documents patient encounters and transcribes orders as needed.
Required Qualifications
High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
Graduate of accredited school of medical assisting or education equivalency for certification
Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or equivalent certification
