Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Prepare the operating room with required instruments and equipment
Assist in positioning and preparing patients for surgery
Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team
Monitor patient's condition during surgery
Document all aspects of patient care accurately
Participate in patient handoff communication
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure compliance with policies
Required Qualifications
One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
ACLS (AHA/ARC), PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications
OR Nursing Certification (CNOR)
Other certifications and licenses may be required
