Job Description: Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry (Day Shift) Location: Person Memorial Hospital, Roxboro, NC Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Position Overview: Person Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit for the day shift. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Unit Details:

• Specialty: Medical-Surgical with Telemetry monitoring
• Patient population includes post-operative, cardiac, and general medical patients
• Electronic Health Record system: Meditech

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols
• Monitor telemetry readings and respond to cardiac alerts appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge planning

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
• Minimum of two years experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry required
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Additional Information:

• Required attire: Navy blue scrubs
