Join Kellanova's Snacks plant in Rome, GA as a PLC Electrical Technician on the night shift. You will ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain production equipment, playing a crucial role in a respected global organization known for its innovative snacks.
Key Responsibilities
Comply with employee safety policies, GMP, OSHA Safety and Health rules, and food safety policies and procedures.
Install and maintain all electrical and electronic plant and production equipment.
Minimize downtime by troubleshooting PLC programs and electrical/electronic circuits.
Perform preventive/predictive maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment.
Serve as an electrical/electronic controls consultant.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in the principles of electricity and electronics.
Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship or 8000 hours of practical experience and training, or a 2-year Associate Degree in electrical/electrical technology, or 4 years electrical experience in a heavy industrial environment, or Journeyman status.
Experience troubleshooting PLC programs and hardware.
Experience with Allen-Bradley RS Logix software and HMI control.
Working knowledge of the National Electric Code.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and electronic/mechanical drawings, prints, schematics, and computer programs.
Ability to operate and interpret electrical test equipment and troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic circuits and equipment.
