Key Responsibilities
Ensure and deliver high quality, patient-centered care
Assist with admission and discharge processes
Participate in the ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services
Collaborate with management team to create an environment of teamwork
Support patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery
Provide recommendations related to staff training and development
Manage staff scheduling and labor in accordance with patient care needs
Support inventory control and manage supplies and equipment
Required Qualifications
At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in an acute care setting
Previous Pediatric Emergency Department experience
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN)
