Seeking a full-time board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in ankle and foot care to join a well-established team in a 155-bed community teaching hospital in Southwest Georgia. The role involves a balanced schedule between clinic and operating room, participation in call coverage, and opportunities to precept medical students and residents. Regional Health System s Sterling Orthopedic Group is currently seeking a full-time Orthopedic surgeon who specializes in feet and ankles to join an established practice with three other board-certified orthopedic physicians, including additional support from mid-levels.
  • Salary : Guaranteed salary is competitive and commensurate with experience; plus, an annual 3% cost-of-living adjustment
  • Bonus : 100% of shared practice profits
  • Call : Call required 7 days/month, including general ortho; extra pay for extra call Schedule : Monday Friday 8am-5pm; time split equally between clinic and OR • Opportunity to precept medical students and residents

Requirements:
  • Completion or upcoming completion of orthopedic residency and a foot and ankle fellowship
  • Required Certifications/Licensures: Board-certified physician or board certification eligible (if eligible, must obtain board certification within 5 years); Georgia Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
