Key Responsibilities
Observe and monitor patients in treatment
Communicate and enforce facility program rules
Address problem behaviors using verbal de-escalation techniques
Maintain healthy and professional boundaries with patients and staff
Ensure timely and accurate documentation
Transport patients to medical appointments as needed
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Good driving record that meets safety and company insurance standards
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree and minimum one (1) year experience in BHT or similar patient care role
In lieu of Associate degree, minimum two (2) years' experience in BHT or similar patient care role
Experience working with adults or children and adolescents
Agency Affiliation Counselor license as required by State
Medication Technician/QMAP Certification
Certified Behavioral Health Technician (CBHT)
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Medical Assistant (MA)
CPR and Standard First Aid certification
