As a Short Term WASHINGTON LICENSED Cardiac Cath Lab Tech, you will be essential in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. Reporting to the Lead Cardiologist, your role involves patient monitoring, utilizing your core skills in telemetry, vital signs assessment, and aseptic techniques. Your knowledge of interventional cardiology and anatomy will be vital in ensuring successful diagnostic evaluations. Additionally, your familiarity with emergency medicine and trauma centers will enhance your ability to respond effectively in critical situations. HealthCare Staffing Solutions (HCSS) is a national company that helps hospitals in crisis situations. We have some short-term assignments (3 to 7 days) coming up in Washington. In addition to a high hourly rate, we would also be paying for your travel, housing in a 4-5 star hotel, and a daily meal stipend. You would be working in a large acute hospital with several other Allied clinicians also working short term assignments to help take care of patients in need of your skills.

This will be an exciting, high-paying job that only lasts a few days. We have these types of assignments on an ongoing basis.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Prepare patients and Cath Lab suite for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
* Assist the cardiologist in performing procedures, including scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring.
* Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment during procedures.
* Maintain accurate documentation and patient records during and after procedures.
* Monitor and report patient vital signs and procedural responses.
* Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
* Perform daily equipment checks and assist with inventory and supply management.
* Provide post-procedure patient care and monitoring as needed.
* Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to emergency cases.
* Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $120.00 per hour
