Job Description
Join Global Medical Response as an EMS Clinical Coordinator in Clackamas, Oregon, where you will lead the Paramedic Clinical/Field Education Program. Play a vital role in shaping future EMS professionals through effective coordination, oversight, and support during their clinical experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinates all aspects of the Paramedic Clinical/Field Education Program
Communicates with hospitals and EMS agencies to place students in clinical and/or field rotations
Monitors student progress throughout the clinical and field experience
Manages the clinical contract process
Develops and maintains relationships with clinical site managers and staff
Schedules clinical and field rotations
Supervises and observes students during clinical rotations
Evaluates student performance and tracks patient contacts
Required Qualifications
Associate degree preferred
Must complete an approved instructor course within one year of hire
Must obtain and maintain AHA ACLS Instructor, PALS, and PHTLS Instructor certifications within one year of hire
Minimum 3 years of progressive field/clinical experience as a Paramedic or Registered Nurse
Certified Paramedic or Licensed Registered Nurse required
Current certification/licensure in the Program state
Preferred Qualifications
Supervisory experience preferred
NREMT preferred
