As the Program Director of Major & Planned Giving, you will manage a portfolio of donors, drive engagement strategies for planned and estate gifts, and collaborate with foundation leadership to implement and optimize giving programs. This role is pivotal in expanding the foundation's reach and ensuring alignment with the health system's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize a major gift portfolio of planned giving prospects of 50 to 60
Develop relationship strategies for effective donor engagement and stewardship
Work closely with foundation leadership to implement best practices for planned giving
Leverage relationships to identify, connect with, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors
Monitor, track, and report on donor relationship progress
Expand legacy and planned giving
Present, plan, and update results of fundraising plan to leadership
Strategically manage foundation budget items related to planned giving
Collaborate with research and service team to develop necessary data lists and marketing materials
Oversee planned giving initiatives to support and expand constituent participation
Required Qualifications
4 years of relationship management, development, marketing, sales, or equivalent experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CRM (e.g., Raisers Edge or Sales Force)
CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive)
Law degree preferred
