Join AMR as a Paramedic and deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care in emergency situations. You'll assess calls, utilize advanced medical equipment, and work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure effective responses.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize medical equipment and procedures to provide advanced medical care
Drive the ambulance and provide map reading support
Maintain required certifications
Communicate with dispatcher regarding call data
Monitor and maintain the general condition of the unit
Document activities regarding patient care and billing
Follow policies regarding out-of-chute and turnaround times
Consider patient status when determining transportation destinations
Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Current state Paramedic License
Valid State Driver’s License
Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, BTLS or PHTLS Provider Certification
Driving record in compliance with AMR Safety and Driving policy
Preferred Qualifications
