Job Description
Join MUSC as a Cardiac Sonographer I, where you'll perform essential echocardiograms to aid in diagnosing heart conditions. You'll leverage your skills in clinical cardiology and acoustic imaging technology in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high quality echocardiograms for interpretation and diagnosis by Cardiologist
Organize and prioritize patient exams
Assist in the orientation and training of residents, students, and visitors
Required Qualifications
Graduation from a Cardiovascular/Ultrasound program or equivalent experience
Registry eligible for certification by ARDMS as RDCS or RCS
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
Associate of Arts/Science or Bachelor’s degree
One year of training/experience in performing cardiac ultrasound procedures
Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics
