Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

MedAdventures is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a reputable Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) team in Charlevoix, MI . This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting residents' mobility, independence, and overall well-being.

As a PTA, you’ll work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide direct patient care and help residents achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy treatments and interventions as directed by the supervising PT
• Assist residents with exercises, functional mobility training, and therapeutic activities
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the PT
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with SNF guidelines
• Promote safety and independence in daily activities

Qualifications:

• Active Michigan PTA license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric rehab preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt to patient needs
• Passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care
