Job Description

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking an Avionics/Electrical Technician IV to provide leadership and technical expertise in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing avionics systems. The role involves training personnel, ensuring defect-free installations, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in testing and repairing avionics/electronic systems
  • Train personnel for cross-training goals while ensuring safety and quality
  • Oversee installations and ensure compliance with specifications and maintenance manuals
  • Conduct operational tests and evaluate system performance
  • Document all work performed and maintain daily logs
  • Enforce safety regulations and company programs

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Six years experience in avionics/electrical field or two years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and four years related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license
  • Other FCC License
  • Other NCATT certification
  • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting other aircraft systems
  • APU run qualification and engine run qualification
