*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled IT Technician that will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks. This role requires a strong understanding of various operating systems, networking, and customer service skills to assist users effectively.
*Duties* * Provide desktop support for Windows and Mac OS environments, ensuring all hardware and software issues are resolved promptly. * Troubleshoot software issues and perform necessary updates or installations. * Assist in maintaining computer networking systems, including LAN configurations and troubleshooting connectivity problems. * Conduct regular maintenance on computer hardware to ensure optimal performance. * Collaborate with team members to implement IT solutions that enhance productivity. * Offer exceptional customer service by responding to user inquiries and resolving technical issues in a timely manner. * Document all support activities and maintain accurate records of user interactions.
*Experience* * Proficiency in Linux operating systems is preferred, along with experience in Windows and Mac OS environments. * Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts, including LAN setup and management. * Demonstrated experience in software troubleshooting and desktop support. * Familiarity with computer hardware components and their functionality. * Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users. * Previous experience in an IT support role is advantageous but not mandatory.
