Job Description
Kaiser is seeking a dedicated Chemical Dependency Recovery Counselor III to provide vital addiction services and psychotherapy for individuals and families. In this impactful role, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and offer both individual and group counseling, contributing to the recovery journey of patients.
Key Responsibilities
Answers and triages patient calls for information and crisis management
Provides higher level assessments and performs intake and psychosocial assessments
Develops and presents treatment plans to treatment team
Participates in clinical case conferences
Conducts chemical dependency focused educational lectures
Provides individual and group counseling services
Provides family and multi-family therapy as assigned
Provides case management services
May mentor CDRP/S Counselors I and II, student interns, and licensure candidates
Required Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years post graduate relevant supervised addiction medicine therapy experience within the last five (5) years
Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or other related field
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California)
