Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Active Iowa RN license (required for Iowa healthcare jobs)
• Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Ability to float to Emergency Room (ER) as needed
• First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and accurately document care using EPIC EMR
• Float to ER and other acute care units as required
• Participate in charge nurse and precepting duties
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards
